Public Safety

  • Provided analysis, field-testing, expansion, and long term strategic plans for a 500 MHz Motorola Smartnet Public Safety trunking simulcast system
  • Performed project management, design, system analysis, field-testing, and recommendations for municipal public land mobile systems
  • Presented CAS vs. NCAS signaling, wireless 911 Phase I/II implementation, and advanced messaging services to VA-APCO and wireless users groups
  • Performed traffic engineering analysis and network recommendations for a UHF multi-site trunking system
  • Develop waiver request for new frequency acquisitions identified by V‑COMM that mitigates DTV interference
  • Provided subject matter and project management support for a dedicated broadband municipal pilot system in New York City
  • Active participant in several APCO Regional Planning Committees for 700 MHz frequency allocations including chairman of technological subcommittee
