FCC seeks comments for changes in 4.9 GHz band

The FCC believes the 4.9 GHz spectrum is under-utilized. However, the band is heavily utilized in the northeast.

The FCC is changing the rules to allow non-public safety agencies access to the 4.9 GHz band.

If your agency is using the 4.9 GHz and you only have a blanket license, then you are required to license your actual use of the spectrum.

V‑COMM has extensive expertise in frequency licensing and coordination. Call us today. We can help you protect your system.
